Senmark sells parts to the US government. Pulse reads every morning's government bids, scores them against supplier stock and margin, and carries each deal from the first quote to the paid invoice.

Design, engineering and data migration
Weekly payment reports used to be retyped into one workbook on one computer. Now each report is read in, matched against about 79,000 visits, and approved by a person before it counts.
Design and engineering
Every week, staff spent hours pulling 50 to 200 patient charts by hand and copying codes onto index cards. Now they photograph the day sheet, check the names, and print one file with every chart in order, plus what goes on each card.
